Agents Giving celebrates another year of fundraising in the industry

Agents Giving is celebrating another year of fantastic fundraising efforts in the industry with its Fundraising Champion Awards 2017. The awards will take place at the Agents Giving Charity Ball, in conjunction with Goodlord and supported by TouchRight on Friday 8th December at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The 2017 awards will recognise some very special fundraising stories, personal challenges and all the great charity and community work carried out by the industry over the last year, all with one thing in common; to raise funds and awareness for some really worthwhile causes.

There are six award categories this year including; best company fundraising, creative fundraising and best agency CSR award. You can enter the fundraising awards on the Agents Giving website.

One of last year’s winners: Melissa Green, Operations & Regional Director at
XL Lettings said:

“We were delighted to be named as 2016 Agents Giving Fundraising Champions last September.  Raising awareness and money for The Lymphoma Association is a cause which is extremely close to our hearts after supporting two of our team members-Chris & Eve-through 6 months of chemotherapy each for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

We always opt for creatively unique approaches to fundraising and the boat race was no exception. Building the rafts ourselves and then taking to the River Dee as a 30 strong team to race them was not only a great day out for the team, but we also raised over £2000 for The Lymphoma Association.

Receiving the award at least years ceremony meant so much to the entire team, not only recognising our efforts but also co-inciding with Chris receiving the all clear from his illness. It was extremely rewarding to have raised the amount we did for a charity, which is so important to us.  We were very honoured to bring the award home and look forward to more exciting fundraisers this year and many more to come.”

Michael Stoop, Director of Agents Giving, adds:
“We are proud to announce that we are once again celebrating the amazing fundraising efforts of the industry this year at our charity ball. There have been so many wonderful fundraising stories and charity events this year which, once again, highlights the great work that agents and suppliers are doing in their communities”.

The Agents Giving Charity Ball is also hosting the 2017 Strictly Agents Dancing competition where twelve of the industries finest will battle it out on the dance floor with their national partner to win the Agents Giving glitter ball trophy.

Agents Giving are taking bookings for tables or individual tickets at £1,600 per table of ten or £175 per individual ticket. Tickets are selling fast so reverse your tickets today. As well as celebrating the industry’s fundraising efforts, the event is a great platform for Christmas parties.
