Terry Whenham of AMG amgltd.co.uk organised a Fundraising evening for the Soldiers Charity on 25th November.
Terry commented: “The ABF Soldiers Charity is the National Charity of the British Army. My Great Uncle was killed during the Battle of the Somme in 1916. 15 years ago I visited his grave for the first time and I decided I wanted to do something to remember him that would really make a difference. So I became a volunteer fundraiser for the ABF and, along with 100 other people including many veterans, walked 75 miles across the World War 1 battlefields to raise money for the charity. I will be doing this walk again in October 2017 – the fundraising will never stop for me”.
Terry applied for a Rightmove support grant to cover the costs of four comedians for the evening.
