Venture Properties ‘wheely’ excited about TOUR DE BRANCH

One of County Durham’s leading estate agents, Venture Properties, has come up with its very own version of the world-famous bike race to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Dan Stephenson, Office Manager at the company’s Chester-le-Street branch, came up with the idea of a charity bike ride and had a light bulb moment when the phrase ‘Tour de Branch’ came to mind. Together with Darlington’s Lettings Manager, Matthew Laverick-Elliott, the plan was put together which now includes 25 riders, pit stops along the way and food and drinks to celebrate at the end.

The Tour will see Venture staff start at the company’s most northerly office in Chester-le-Street and finish at its most southerly office in Darlington, while visiting all the other branches in Durham, Crook and Bishop Auckland – en route. A grand total of 41 miles will be covered by riders on the day, made up of Venture staff, as well as friends and family.

The event will take place on Sunday, 20th August at 7am with the aim of finishing by 1pm.
