This Christmas and New Year your local food bank will be giving out emergency supplies to more people than ever before. At a time of the year when people should be excited about opening presents, there will be many families who have very little to look forward to. That is why Agents Giving are urging estate and letting agents, and property industry suppliers, to support our Christmas Stocking Campaign this year.
This Winter Agents Giving are running a Christmas Food Bank Appeal continuing the support of local Trussell Trust and other local food banks with their Christmas Stocking Campaign.
Help spread some Christmas and New Year cheer by filling a stocking or bag full of goodies to donate to your local food bank, meaning in addition to the basic food parcel contents those in need will receive the extras that everyone loves at Christmas and beyond. Some chocolates and sweet treats are a real luxury if people are trying to manage financially.
Between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2021, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 2.5 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis, a 33% increase on the previous year, 980,000 of these went to children.
You can help extend the spirit of Christmas by filling a Christmas stocking with some sweet treats to make a difference to local families who need much-needed support over the Christmas period, every donation will make a huge difference to those receiving them.
Fill the stockings with items that you want to donate to the food bank. Items the food banks are in need of to provide an extra helping hand this festive season:
Please collect up what you can in your office, ask your local community and other local businesses to support you, pop into a stocking of any size, and donate to your local food bank who will be delighted to receive your support this Winter to help give that little bit extra.

More than 14 million people in the UK live below the poverty line. We understand that every person’s struggle with poverty is different and that it takes more than food to end hunger. At this time of the year we urge you to help us to extend the spirit of Christmas to local families in need.
