Julian organises and auctions signed guitars in aid of Action Against Cancer
Julian O’Dell has been organising and auctioning signed guitars to raise money for Action Against Cancer.
The 100+ Hitmakers Against Cancer was started in the Spring of 2019 by Julian O’Dell, a Business Consultant from Milton Keynes.
Julian has dedicated the past 5 years to hosting and running Catfest, an annual fundraiser festival named after his wife, Cat, who has been fighting cancer since 2010.
Catfest has proved to be a huge success with 2019’s event raising £52,607 for Action Against Cancer taking the total raised overall to over £160,000.
100+ Hitmakers Against Cancer was going to be part of Catfest’s fundraising total in 2020, however the pandemic led to the event being postponed until August 2021. Sadly a decision was taken to delay the 2021 event until 2022. Therefore, some of the signed guitars are to be auctioned during 2021 with all proceeds going to the charity at a time when funds are critical.

Action Against Cancer funds the development of cures for cancer at leading institutions such as Imperial College London and the University of Sussex. The cutting edge programmes that they fund focus on developing new diagnostics and treatments, to improve the survival prospects and quality of life for millions of cancer sufferers worldwide.
All profits from 100+ Hitmakers Against Cancer go directly to Action Against Cancer. Action Against Cancer funds the development of cures for cancer at leading institutions such as Imperial College London and the University of Sussex.
