1,200 Kilometre Row Supporting Diabetes UK
Head of Franchise Development Olaf Throndsen, of No Letting Go, has spent the last four months completing a 1,200Km row on his Concept2 indoor rower. This matches the distance friends Karl and Simon have cycled across Europe to Austria – all in support of Diabetes UK . The challenge involved averaging 10Km a day on the rower for the entire four months.
Olaf comments “we’ve had amazing support from family and friends, and in particular members at Herne Bay Sailing Club, who pitched in on the last day to row the final 50km, and have been brilliant at fundraising. We’re delighted to have raised £7,000 so far”.
