Angela comments “The Charlie and Carter Foundation (CCF) was formed by husband-and-wife team Chris & Sarah Cookson following the loss of their first son Charlie back in 2013.
Chris and Sarah sadly went on to lose their second son Carter in totally unconnected circumstances, Baby Carter died a few weeks after birth In early 2019 after a worldwide search for a new heart failed, the foundation now plays a massive part in highlighting the importance of organ donation.
Through fundraising events we can financially support families who have children with life limiting conditions whilst striving to improve the quality of life of sick and seriously ill children by providing information, advice & support”.

This October is the 10th annual Charity Ball held at the Hylton Hotel on Gateshead quayside which also marks the 10th year of Charlie passing.
