Raising funds for Breast Cancer Research
Agents Giving and friends will be once again fundraising for The Maria Falco Memorial Trust in aid of The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charitable Trust – Breast Trial Unit with a Ladies Christmas Lunch at the New Boar Restaurant in Abridge on 8th December 2023.
Ninety ladies will be supporting vital research by coming along to The New Boar Restaurant to have an afternoon of Christmas celebrations. Last years event raised a staggering £10,000. The afternoon includes; Music, a two course lunch followed by a fundraising raffle and auction.
All funds raised will be donated to PAH Charitable Trust – Breast Trial Unit.
Treating hundreds of patients with breast cancer
Yvonne Martin of Agents Giving comments “I have had the privilege of working in the charity office at St Margaret’s Hospital for Mr Patel a surgeon who has treated hundreds of women in North Hertford and Essex for breast cancer for almost 30 years and has been awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2021.
Ashraf Patel, associate specialist in breast surgery with the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT), has been recognised for services to funding and research for breast cancer”.
With the support of Mr Patel’s breast unit patients, their families, friends and partner charities, he has been instrumental in helping to raise more than £4.5m for the Princess Alexandra Hospital’s Charity. This has funded breast cancer clinical trials, specialist equipment and health and wellbeing programmes, benefitting patients with breast cancer.
Agents Giving and the Guild of Property Professionals are delighted to support with a grant to help raise funds for vital research.
