We're doing a Cake Sale in our office
Ellie Cleary and team of Your Move Chapeltown are having a Cake Sale in their office on the 28th November in aid of PACT. Ellie comments “21.09.2021 the journey of childhood leukaemia began when my friends son Lucas was diagnosed. In October 2021, to start this journey they walked their travelling route to Sheffield Children’s Hospital over 19 miles to embark the start of our journey of childhood cancer.
The only way they could end this journey is to walk the journey home. Lucas on the 28.10.2024 took his last dose of chemotherapy and on the 02.11.2023 he took his last trip to theatre for his port removal and he rang the bell.
We would love to raise more money for the amazing charity PACT, I simply cannot put into words how amazing this charity is and the difference they make to families and childhood fighting cancer in Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Any donation large or small we will be greatly appreciated and is all used to support a small local charity where every penny is put to amazing use”.

PACT – standing for, the Parents Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia. For each and every family of a sick child it’s a physically, emotionally and financially exhausting journey that can last for years. Parents and carers are split between their children; ‘career’ and ‘jobs’ are put on hold for daily trips to, or long stays at hospital; and children undergo harsh treatments and miss the support and friendship of their school friends. Put simply, PACT does whatever it can to make the journey less painful. PACT provides a range of services and facilities to help.
