Our aim is to raise £10,000 by the end of 2024

In 2014 PCS Legal’s founding Partner, Stuart Forsdike, chose to make The Papworth Trust their charity partner – not just because he is passionate about their cause, but also because 100% of the money raised goes directly towards the charity. More specifically, the funds go to the Papworth Basildon Centre, which is local to their head office.

The team at PCS legal have scheduled their PCS Legal Annual Charity Golf Day, Climbing Snowdon, A Triathlon, The Cambridge half Marathon, The London Big Half Marathon, Ride London and Swimming the Serpentine all in 2024.

The Papworth Trust supports adults with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and those with profound and complex needs, to live as independently as possible. Their mission is to provide disabled people with equality, choice and independence.

In the nine years The Papworth Trust has been their charity partner, they have raised over £14,500 for them through marathons, cycle rides, golf days and all sorts of staff events. PCS Legal’s aim is to raise £10,000 in 2024 to mark the 10 years of their partnership with the Trust.

PCS Legal visit the Basildon centre regularly, and it is astounding to see the real impact and differences the money they raise makes to the everyday lives of their customers. The £10,000 will help them towards building an Independent Living Unit at the centre, enabling customers to learn how to provide for themselves in every aspect of their home life, which will be an essential way of helping them achieve independence.

The Papworth Trust provide care and support services to individuals while promoting independence and social inclusion.

Papworth Trust has been providing care and support services to individuals for more than 100 years. Today they deliver adult social care services in the east of England and the majority of our customers, who typically have higher support needs, live in their own homes within Supported Living settings.

Their dedicated and experienced care teams deliver compassionate, professional care tailored to the needs and goals of customers and their families, promoting independence and social inclusion. They strive to deliver high quality support and are delighted that this is reflected in our ratings from the Care Quality Commission, who judge all of our services to be either ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding.
