Celebrating their tenth anniversary
Wendy Morris and the team at Oliver and Akers Estate Agency based in St Albans are delighted to once again be holding a Charity Golf Day! The Company, who celebrate their 10th Anniversary this year have so far raised a phenomenal almost £60,000 for charity through their annual golf event.
This year Oliver and Akers will be continuing their support for the Willow Foundation. This is a charity which is dear to Company Director Vic Akers heart as it was launched by his close friend ex-Arsenal and England Goal Keeper Bob Wilson following the death of his beloved daughter Anna in 1999.
In previous years Bob and together with other ex ‘Arsenal Legends’ have joined golfers on the green for a round of golf, which is followed by a presentation dinner and charity auction.
This years Charity Golf Day is being held at Brocket Hall Golf Course in Hertfordshire taking place on Tuesday May 14th.
Helping seriously ill young adults make precious memories in the toughest times
Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.
Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 17,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease.
Agents Giving and The Guild of Property Professionals with be supporting Oliver & Akers Charity Golf Day with a grant, we hope the day goes really well and the sun is shining!
