My Swimathon 2024', in memory of my late father,
Robert Sapcote Accompanied Viewer at Your Move Chapeltown, Sheffield is taking to the water. for two charities close to his heart. Robert comments “I am taking part in ‘My Swimathon 2024’, in memory of my late father, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK & Marie Curie.
MySwimathon 2024 gives the option to swim at any venue and is to be held between 19 April & 5 May. My swim target is to complete 1.5 km (60 × 25m pool lengths) in under 45 minutes. In training, so far, I have averaged 1.0 km in 28-29 minutes”.
Roberts fundraising target is £250. The Your Move office is also planning a cake bake & sale on 10 April to help raise more funds to Roberts challenge.
