Amy Hansen, Head of Marketing at agentOS PropTech Group, is on the road to Ireland and South Africa to represent Wales in the Masters Hockey World Cup. Amy comments “I am proud to announce I have been selected to represent Wales as part of the Wales Women’s Over 40 Hockey Squad.
Masters Hockey is completely self-funded so though it is a privilege to be selected it’s also incredibly expensive. Women’s sport is already chronically underfunded and at Masters level it’s totally self-funded.
2024 sees me with the Wales Over 40s going to Ireland for the Home Nations tournament and Cape Town, South Africa for the World Cup.
Along with that, being a Goalkeeper is really an expensive gig with my kit always an extra expense and, quite frankly, I’m in desperate need of new kit!
So I am fundraising to help me get there. My target is £5000 and already the industry has been so generous! But if anyone can help or would like to discuss sponsorship opportunities please get in touch via linked in. All help is gratefully received!”
Masters Hockey is the fastest growing sector within Hockey and the age groups range from Over 35s to some countries entering an Over 80s team!!
Wales O40s will be competing in Cape Town against teams such as Argentina, Australia, Chile, Netherlands, Singapore, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, England, South Africa and USA plus many others…
In fact Amy actually won a Bronze Medal with the Wales O35 in the Masters World Cup in Nottingham in 2022.
Agents Giving and The Guild of Property Professionals are delighted to support Amy with the O40’s women’s hockey team on their fundraising journey to the Masters Hockey World Cup 2024 in Ireland for the Home Nations tournament and Cape Town, South Africa for the World Cup.
We wish you all the best of luck and we’ll be watching!!!
