We are a small club of 50 ladies
Sarah Simms, Director of Henrys Simms Letting Agents is helping to organise a charity fundraising Annual Mixed Netball tournament on 22nd June 2024 held by The Queen Bees Netball Team. Sarah comments “Its our third year of raising money for cancer research ! We have raised a total of £6000 for the charity over the two years and we want to hit £10k over the three years therefore this years target is £4k.
This tournament is special and we want to raise as much money for Cancer Research in memory of one of The Queen Bees Mum. We are excited to host this event and raise as much money as possible and reach the £10k target. This charity does amazing work and we would like you to support us in reaching our target. There are lots of mixed netball matches played, our BIG RAFFLE, everyone supports this from family and friends and people come down on the day for tickets because we manage to get fabulous prizes donated. We have stalls, cakes, wax melts, craft and tombolas, its a real family day. We have lots of fun but the main focus is to get as much money for this fabulous charity. We are super lucky as two of the bees work at a school who donate the grounds for FREE!”
We all have a real love of netball
“We are a small club of about 50 ladies aged 18-55, we train each week and play matches. We are in desperate need of some new kit, netballs, a gazebo for tournaments etc. We are holding a charity mixed tournament to raise much needed funds for our club. There will be lots of games of netball played, a raffle and some refreshments stalls. This will be a fun Tournament.
We all have a real love of netball and want to keep training but are in desperate need of some new equipment. Each team requires a kit bag containing, bibs, first aid kits, match and practice balls. Our club is also a great way to socialise and make some great friends. Raising funds helps us continue our little Queen Bees Community”.
