A challenge of a lifetime in the Himalayas
George Smith, Director at Chestertons, London put on his hiking boots and headed off to climb two mountains. George told Agents Giving “As many of you are aware, I am off to Nepal to take on a challenge of a lifetime in the Himalayas! I am hoping to climb two mountains, Lobuche at 6119m and Island peak at 6164m. I will also be raising money for an incredible charity called Lehara. Lehara provides free education to Sherpa in the remote Everest region on how to deliver sports massage and the revenue generated gets reinvested back into the local communities to benefit their healthcare, education and environment.
