This year, ‘Do It For Dom’ event returns as an ‘Adventure Challenge,’ featuring an Old School Sports Day in Northampton.
Suzanna Mavity organiser of ‘Do It For Dom’ comments “Take a stroll down memory lane and head back to school by joining this old school sports day with a twist! We will be working in teams in our carefully crafted sports activities catered to all skill levels, ensuring everyone can participate with a challenge whilst raising funds.
This is both a day and evening event, which includes the challenge and evening meal. Tickets are £149 each and your commitment is to raise a minimum of £200 each – why not enter a team and set a team target?”
The Do It For Dom Charity
“When our good friend Dom was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease in 2017, I suggested a get together or ‘something’ for Dom. The ideas started and we formulated a plan.
Dom said nobody would join, but we had other ideas… and it became even bigger than we expected.
After raising over £200,000 between 2017 & 2021 the Do It For Dom charity was established in 2022. We raised a further £73,000 in 2023. We continue to raise funds and focus on helping people within our industry experiencing mental and physical health conditions. In particular supporting The Huntington’s Disease Association Charity“.
