Vicky Wilkinson and team at Guildcrest Estates are a female-led company based in Manston, Kent and have chosen to support Oasis Domestic Abuse Service throughout the next 24 months. Guildcrest Estates believes EVERY HOME SHOULD BE A SAFE HOME. Vicki comments “We aim to raise a minimum of £1000.00 by supporting their official events and by running our own fund-raising initiatives.
Oasis originally started up in Thanet in 1994 and have since spread to cover Kent and Medway. Since their start up, they have helped thousands of families escape domestic abuse, heal and rebuild their lives. Last year alone, Oasis supported 1561 adults and 393 children. Guildcrest Estates will be supporting Oasis by sponsoring a hole at their annual Golf Day, as well as entering a team.
We are also holding our own Quiz Night on October 2nd. Monies will be raised through ticket sales and a raffle, and ALL money raised will go straight to Oasis. Along with sponsoring the Golf Day and holding the Quiz Night, we have set up a QR code that links to our Just Giving page for Oasis”.

Oasis providing safe positive futures
Support and donations raised for Oasis can ensure they are able to provide safe, positive futures, free from harm, for anyone that needs it. Money raised could go towards the following:
£25 could pay for a burner phone for victims to seek help.
£30 could pay for a counselling session for a child or adult traumatised by abuse.
£50 could buy a kitchen starter kit for a family resettling in their own home after refuge.
£80 could cover the cost of an IT course to gain skills and confidence to return to work.
£100 could buy a cot or bedding for a baby in refuge.
£200 could pay for children affected by abuse to enjoy an exciting day of activities.
£700 would cover the cost of the 100 calls per month to our helpline that go unanswered.
£1000 would pay for a trauma support group programme place for someone in recovery.
So, every donation no matter how BIG OR SMALL will go towards helping this worthwhile charity.
