Working all year-round to organise events that benefit the children

Vanessa Williams and the team at Webbers Property Services are dedicated to fundraising for their local school. Vanessa explains, “I am part of the PTFA (Parent, Teacher, and Friends Association) at Fremington Primary School, where we are currently working on several exciting projects aimed at benefiting the school.”

Our initiatives include developing a Forest School, which requires £4,000, and landscaping outdoor spaces to create a more engaging learning environment, with a goal of raising £5,000. We are also working on building a running track, aiming for a total of £20,000. Additionally, we are organising events for the children, such as a “Lunch with Santa,” where each child will receive a book. For our older students, we will provide “leavers hoodies” with their names printed on them, costing £1,500. All these events are funded entirely by the PTFA.

Our PTFA consists of around 10 dedicated volunteers, including parents and a teacher. We work year-round to organize events that benefit both the children at the school and nursery, as well as the wider local community.

We have a Halloween Disco planned

Last year, we hosted a summer fundraiser that featured a visit from a local zoo, where the children had the opportunity to interact with animals and we also held a talent show. Together with organising many other fun activities such as a circus day.

In the coming weeks, we have a Halloween Disco planned, and as we approach Christmas, Santa Claus will join the children for lunch and deliver presents, creating wonderful memories for everyone involved. These events will be funded entirely by the PTFA.

Our main fundraising focus this year is to establish a Forest School for outdoor learning. While we’ve made some progress, we need to ensure the area is safe and secure for lessons. This involves installing secure fencing, which will cost over £5,000. We’re working hard to raise this amount to make outdoor learning a reality for the children.

Agents Giving and The Guild of Property Professional are delighted to support these great projects to benefit the children at Fremington Primary School.
