Running for Lincoln City Football Foundation
Jasper Caudwell Chartered Surveyor at Pygott & Crone Commercial, Lincoln is no stranger to fundraising for many charities. Japer comments “I’m currently in training for the London Marathon and looking for any support possible! I’ve been with Pygott and Crone for 13 + years supporting various charity events with this being my biggest challenge to date.
I was lucky to receive a ballot place after years of trying and made the decision to run it for The Lincoln City Foundation, a charity solely reliant of government grants, fundraising efforts, and volunteers. The charity plays a vital role in our community including rehabilitation courses for current and past cancer sufferers, dementia, and mental health (to name a few), with the social inclusion in sport being pivotal in this; all areas are extremely close to me with my family being hit hard in that last 12 months losing three family members whilst seeing close friends also affected across these illnesses.
Sometimes we all need support
The Lincoln City Foundation offers several different programmes to help improve the mental health of individuals across Lincolnshire.
These range from our Let’s Talk sessions, a monthly peer-to-peer support group for anyone over the age of 18, to a friendly and accepting Team Talk Football group.
