Every step taken is in support of The Nikki Waterhouse Trust
Rob Smith and team of Hunters Estate and Letting Agents is proud to support two meaningful fundraising events in 2026, bringing colleagues and communities together in memory of a much-loved team member.
The first challenge is an incredible 200-mile run, beginning on Friday 22nd May and finishing in Helmsley by 8pm on Sunday. This endurance event reflects both determination and unity, as participants push themselves to raise vital funds for an important cause.
The second event is a Dragon Boat Race taking place on 13th July, promising a day of teamwork, energy, and community spirit.
Both events are in aid of the Nikki Waterhouse Trust, established in memory of a valued Hunters colleague who was tragically taken too soon. The Trust provides support to children in the UK who have been affected by war, catastrophe, or natural disaster, helping them rebuild and find hope in difficult circumstances.
Through these events, Glynis and the Hunters team aim not only to honour Nikki’s memory, but also to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
The Trust aims to help children who suffer from life threatening or terminal illness
The Nikki Waterhouse Trust was set up in memory of Nikki. She was a much loved daughter, sister, friend and colleague who worked along side many at Hunters Property Group. In 2013 she was tragically taken away and with her love of children it seemed the best way to carry on and remember her by raising money which every year sends important funds to children in the UK who need extra help.
The charity is devoted to helping children under the age 18 who are victims of war, natural disaster or catastrophe. The Trust aims to help children who suffer from life threatening or terminal illness or those who have suffered an injury that has had a catastrophic effect on their and their family’s life.
We also aim to support families with children who suffered due to natural disaster and lost their home and /or property and supply them with the necessary means to improve their wellbeing.
