Chabad aid supports many hundreds of people every week
Yvonne Martin Fundraising Manager at the industry charity Agents Giving will be putting on her trainers in support of Chabad Lubavitch North East London & Essex supporting the community with food aid. Russell Green the organiser of the Padel Tournament tells “With the amount of individuals and families who are struggling every week to buy fresh healthy produce is getting beyond ridiculous in the 21st century and it’s happening on our doorstep. Chabad aid supports many hundreds of people every week and although run from a synagogue ,its benefactors are from every sector/race/religion in our area”.
There is no i in we .We work very hard every week gathering food from supermarkets/larger food distribution company’s and just very good caring people. We supply weekly shopping bags of fresh fruit and veg, delivered door to door to those less able to collect, we supply schools with bread and cereals for their breakfast clubs, organisations that cook for the homeless as well as supporting food banks with in our neighbour hoods.
Every donation will go towards feeding people who deserve and need the support
Nothing is ever wasted if we can help it. We need to buy food every week to supplement our need which grows continuously, every donation will go towards feeding people who deserve and need the support and we also want to ensure what they get is fresh and edible, not just everyone’s out of date left overs. Falling on hard times could happen to anyone, help us make sure we continue our services .
