The Brookings team will tackle the challenging 52-mile route
Michael O’Brien, along with a determined team of 13 riders from Brookings Estate Agents will be taking to the saddle on Sunday 19th July 2026 to complete the London to Southend Bike Ride, raising vital funds for the local charity First Step.
Made up of staff, clients and friends of all cycling abilities, the Brookings team will tackle the challenging 52-mile route from West Ham Park in Newham to Priory Park in Southend. The popular ride takes cyclists through picturesque villages and peaceful country lanes, promising an unforgettable day of teamwork, determination and fundraising.
The team has chosen to support First Step, a Hornchurch-based charity that provides invaluable early intervention and ongoing support to families of babies and young children with special needs and disabilities. The charity works closely with parents and carers, offering specialist guidance, practical support and a caring environment during what can often be an overwhelming and emotional time.
