Supporting Local People, Every Step of the Way

On 28 October 2026, Neil Simmons and the team at Jacobs Steel will be supporting Daryl as he takes on an impressive endurance challenge: walking and running 100km in just 24 hours, with the aim of raising £2,500 for Guild Care.

The route will connect 15 Guild Care shops, beginning in Crawley and passing through Horsham before heading down to Littlehampton. From there, Daryl will continue along the coast through Worthing, finishing in Hove.

Covering such a significant distance within a single day will take determination, stamina and plenty of encouragement along the way. With Jacobs Steel behind him, Daryl will be making every kilometre count for a charity whose work makes a meaningful difference to the local community.

100km, 15 Shops, One Goal: Supporting Guild Care

For Neil and the Jacobs Steel team, this challenge is about much more than distance. It is an opportunity to stand alongside their community, recognise the value of Guild Care’s services and help raise funds for people who need support.

By visiting the charity’s shops along the route, the challenge will also shine a light on Guild Care’s presence across the area and the communities connected through its work.

Neil has applied to the Agents Giving Grant Fund, backed by The Guild of Property Professionals, for support with the fundraising challenge.

Every donation, large or small, will help Daryl move closer to his £2,500 target and turn a demanding personal challenge into a positive difference for others. Please get behind Daryl and the Jacobs Steel team, cheer them on and help make every step worthwhile.
