James Hunt and the team at Durden & Hunt Independent Estate Agency are helping bring festive joy to children and families through their Christmas partnership with S.M.I.L.E London & Essex.
The charity supports vulnerable children and families facing poverty, homelessness and hardship, including those living in temporary accommodation and homeless hostels across London and Essex. Through its Christmas Shoebox Gift Appeal, Durden & Hunt is inviting clients, local businesses and the wider community to help ensure more children have a gift to open this Christmas.
From 9am on Monday 2 November until 6pm on Monday 23 November 2026, Durden & Hunt’s branches in Hornchurch, Wanstead, Loughton, Ongar, Colchester and Leigh-on-Sea will act as official donation points.
Supporters can choose an age group and fill a Christmas shoebox with suitable new gifts, or donate individual new toys, gifts and games at a participating branch or the S.M.I.L.E hub, where the teams will take care of the rest.
The gifts will be delivered to partner hostels from the beginning of December. By bringing their communities together, James and the Durden & Hunt team hope to share some Christmas excitement and show families facing difficult circumstances that they are remembered and supported.
Agents Giving are honoured to support the Christmas Shoebox appeal.
