Propertymark is organising a giant charity sleep-out event with match-funding support from Arbon Trust, on 21 November. We are aiming to raise £25,000 for the charity Centrepoint to support homeless young people. Centrepoint provide practical on-the-ground support to homeless people age 16-25, focusing on providing a safe place to stay and the building blocks of and independent life. And with more than 103,000 young people asking their local council for help because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness throughout 2017/18 you can see how crucial their work is.
If you want to join the NAEA Propertymark and ARLA Propertymark Presidents sleeping out in aid of a fantastic charity. Please email sarahdavies@propertymark.co.uk to register your interest.
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity and provides housing and support in London, Sunderland, Manchester, Yorkshire and the North East.
They are determined to end youth homelessness and they support over 10,000 homeless 16-25-year olds each year with accommodation, health support and life skills to get them back into education, training and employment.
