Estate Agents Can Be Kind Too!
It’s well known that, fairly or unfairly, estate agents don’t have the best reputation! This much maligned profession frequently appears near the bottom (or should that be the top!) of various surveys asking the general public who they trust the least. Estate agents are also not necessarily known for being kind which may go some way to explain why they are not trusted too.
Well the eXp estate agency network is making a valiant attempt to change that perception by participating in World Kindness Day on November 13th. The idea to support this already well established international annual event was initiated by the eXp UK Agents Advisory Council (AAC) who are extending an invitation of participation across the whole industry. Chair of the UK’s eXp Agents Advisory Council Simon Bradbury said…
“We know that estate agents and their suppliers already carry out LOTS of individual acts of kindness in their daily lives. This simple initiative is designed to place a focus on displaying a little more kindness on November 13th – World Kindness Day. It’s a very simple idea requiring people to carry out something kind, be it opening the door for a stranger or making a donation to a local foodbank. It would be great if our industry came together and supported this idea throughout the country.”
eXp’s International Expansion Leader Adam Day is an enthusiastic supporter of the idea and said “This is another example of how eXp agents around the country are making a real difference to their local communities”.
The initiative is also being supported by Agents Giving – the estate agency charity.
World Kindness Day is organised by the Random Acts Of Kindness Foundation every year and uses the hashtag #WorldKindnessDay for it’s social media posts promoting the event.
