Amy Carroll and team at Panda Property are putting on their trainers for their challenge on 20th April 205 to run in aid of P.A.U.L for Brain Recovery.
This is a charity close to their hearts. Amy tells “Back in 2024 two of our staff members were devastated when two separate family members where hit with a brain injury.
Sarah’s Husband was diagnosed in February 2024 with Central Neurocytoma (Brain Tumor). In March 2024 he underwent an operation to remove most of the tumor, however not all of the tumor could be removed due to it’s location. Jonathan and Sarah’s family are still living with the aftermath of a brain tumor and the long-term effects it has on all of their day-to-day lives.
Two months after in May 2024 Amy’s Dad, Mally had a Transient Ischaemic attack and an Ischaemic Stroke (which is a mini stroke and a full Stoke). There are several side affects cause by the strokes that hit Mally and now both Amy and Mally are tackling every one of these everyday and with the help of friends, family and P.A.U.L are learning how to get back on their feet and cope with the aftermath”.
“Both families are in early stages of recovery, they are still being challenged, but making sure that with all the bad days, there are an equal amount of good. In order to cope and learn how to live with this P.A.U.L have given support to both Amy and Sarah, but also their families. The Knowledge and information provided through the family support groups along with the support given to both Jonathan and Mally have been extremely helpful in their recovery.
As we are all like a family here at Panda Property, we are all going to be putting our running shoes on and raise money for P.A.U.L so they can continue to heal our loved ones that have been effected.
2024 has been a very hard and challenging year for every staff member in our office and although we are not the fittest bunch of girls we are proud to try our hardest and use all of our ability to support this cause, so they can continue to help us and other people out there who also need the support that P.A.U.L offers”.
Agents Giving and the Guild of Property Professionals wish the families of Panda Property a good recovery.
