Walking 10,000 steps a day
Victoria Richards HR Manager, CIPD Associate at Dezrez | Estate Agency Sales, Lettings & Property Management Software and team are walking 10,000 steps a day through the month of June in aid of Matthews House
Victoria tells” As a business we will be walking the equivalent of the coastline of Wales in the month of June! We have teams of 4 people, all tasked with walking 10,000 steps per day.
If everyone completes their steps we will have walked the coastline. Teams are competing against each-other to walk the further and fastest they can, whilst raising money for a fantastic cause. At the end of the event we will be celebrating everyone’s accomplishments in a recognition event and follow this up with a physical walk from our office in Swansea to Mumbles”.
Two staff members volunteer on the first Monday of every month
“We raise money for the same charity each year, it is very close to our hearts. Matt’s Cafe service meals and provide services to allow the homeless in Swansea to have dignity and a full belly.
We allow 2 staff members to volunteer on the first Monday of every month to help run the cafe, preparing food, serving clients and sorting donations. Any money raised/donated will be put to excellent use in our local community”.
