Angharad Trueman of Andrews Property Group and team are fundraising for their local homeless charity Landaid.
Angharad comments “We will be sleeping out as a team for just one night in Bristol so we can experience the same conditions these young people live through every night. But by raising this money to donate to Landaid, we can be sure that they will be provided with a roof over their head to rest and ensure they are warm and safe.
Andrews Property Group is wholly owned by Andrews Charitable Trust which means that giving back is in our DNA, it runs like a vein through every decision we make and everything we do and the Andrews team live our charitable heritage daily by getting involved in many events such as this to support those in need with homelessness projects”.
136,000 young people were either homeless or at risk of homelessness last year, this problem is growing and so several Andrews staff are taking part in the sleep out for homelessness for Landaid on the 7th March 2024 to raise funds to provide a shelter for these young people.
The cost of living crisis has had an immense effect on all of us. This has been felt even more acutely by young people facing homelessness. Reports from the charities that LandAid support have mentioned that they’re facing not only a homelessness crisis, but a mental health one too. Young people facing homelessness need our support more than ever.
Agents Giving are delighted to support a great event sleeping out in aid of Landaid.
