Sarah comments “Picture the scene, it’s October 2024 and as part of my “you’re 30, say yes!” era, I crazily said yes to joining a friend in the Hampton Court Half Marathon in March 2025. Sounds fun, I said! Some loose training towards Couch to 5K commences… it’s wet, it’s cold, Christmas comes, and then January lands and you think, SHIT! I’ve actually got to do this
I’m not an athlete, nor a natural runner. I’ve never done anything like this before and yet I’m giving it a bloody good go and here’s why”.
I’m strapping my boobs down and attempting to complete this challenge.
“Last year our world lost a very special person. Sarah Edmundson was an incredibly kind, supportive and warm person who you couldn’t help but adore. Until the end she was also an incredible champion for raising awareness and funds so that others might have a cure for the breast cancer with which she suffered. Suffered without fuss, and battled hard against.
I have two boobs of my own, and I’d be mightily f….. off if anything happened to them. So with Sarah’s memory, and plenty more boobs around the world to save, I’m strapping mine down and attempting to complete this challenge.
