We've started doing an annual team walk
Louise George, Chief Financial Officer and the team at Belvoir have walked to raise much needed funds for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Trust
Louise comments “After the lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, we recognised that walking was a good thing for everyone’s mental and physical well-being, so we started doing an annual team walk as a good way of both promoting a healthy lifestyle and bringing our teams together outside of the office environment. We organise our routes in such a way to be as inclusive as possible, catering for those able to walk 11, 16 or 22 miles. This year our walk took us around the beautiful Vale of Belvoir – how appropriate”.
The trust relies solely on donations from the generosity of the public
Louise and team have chosen their charity for 2023 to be the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Trust, which provides an invaluable service to those in need, where the urgent timing of treatment means the difference between life and death. Receiving no Government funding, the Trust relies solely on donations from the generosity of the public and fundraising by individuals and organisations. We raised £1,795 with support from family, work colleagues and suppliers, who we cannot thank enough.
