Alice shares: “In 2025, Boyce Brixham reached a truly special milestone — 100 years as part of our town and community. To mark this incredible occasion, we wanted to give something back to a cause close to all our hearts: Torbay Lifeboats, RNLI.
On Wednesday 13th August, the team took on a unique challenge — cycling 100 miles right outside our Fore Street office! Two static bikes kept us pedalling all day, with friends, clients, and supporters stopping by to cheer us on and keep our spirits high.
Every mile cycled honoured a century of service in our community — and raised vital support for the brave RNLI volunteers who risk their lives to keep our waters safe”.

Day and night, RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews are ready to launch
The RNLI has been saving lives at sea since 1824, powered by the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of supporters. Every day, volunteer lifeboat crews are ready to launch at a moment’s notice, providing a 24-hour search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and Ireland. Alongside them, RNLI lifeguards work tirelessly to keep watch over some of the UK’s busiest beaches, offering safety advice, preventing accidents, and responding in an instant when someone is in danger.
This lifesaving work doesn’t happen without support. The RNLI receives no government funding for its rescue services, relying instead on the kindness of people like you. Through donations, fundraising, and spreading awareness, supporters make it possible for crews to train, equip their lifeboats, and continue preventing drowning in our communities. Together, we can ensure the RNLI is always there to answer the call for help — today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
