Tim O’Sullivan, franchisee of C J Hole Estate Agents, Hucclecote and team are organising charity events and challenges for SSAFA – Armed Forces. Tim Tells “On the 26th of April 2026 I’ll be taking on the challenge of raising money for a great charity whilst taking on the London marathon.
I’m looking forward to raising some funds for SSAFA, who are an armed forces charity which is very close to my heart. They were so supportive to our family when we lost my brother Pete (aka Ronnie) who suffered from ptsd after leaving the pathfinders and joining civvy street.
Whilst looking forward to my own personal challenge in training for the marathon, I’m hoping to raise over £2,500 for SSAFA, and will doing this joint venture with Kenny Pettigrew. Watch this space for some up and coming fund raising ideas we have, but if you can donate any amount, it would be greatly appreciated”.
Many problems only become apparent when an individual must leave their life in the forces
“SSAFA helps the armed forces community in a number of ways, though their focus is on providing direct support to individuals in need of physical or emotional care. Addiction, relationship breakdown, debt, homelessness, post-traumatic stress, depression, and disability are all issues that can affect members of our Armed Forces community.
Many of these problems only become apparent when an individual must leave their life in the forces and join ‘Civvy Street’. SSAFA is committed to helping our brave men and women overcome these problems and rebuild their lives.
