Walking One Million Steps
Tina Williams of Cubitt & West will be taking on a ‘Step Challenge’. Tina comments “I decided to complete a step challenge to support the amazing charity The Rainbow Trust. I wanted it to be a real challenge, so I set the target to walk one million steps in September. I was hopeful to raise £1000 I haven’t quite reached that but sit at £375 so far.
I am an outdoorsy person and have dogs and a horse so have a full day that starts at 5am normally, but I dragged the dogs and sometimes the horse along for walks, and even managed to get some short runs in. As the month drew on the weather and the daylight started to push back against me and it was really tough to stay motivated to get out and about.
36,000 steps a day was the average I needed to achieve. I finished the month on 1,000,047 steps”.

They support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
