Burry Port Raft Race and Family Fun Day 1st August 2020
This is the fourth year, Dawsons Property (Swansea) are the headline sponsors for the Burry Port Raft Race and it’s now a highlight in the town’s diary. Craig and Isabel Goodman, the organisers of the Raft Race, said “with spectators coming from all over the county to cheer on the rafts, as well as a fun day for all the family, it also raises much-needed funds for Burry Port RNLI, Goodman Primary School and Afia Football Academy, in The Gambia”.
Chris Hope, Dawsons’ Senior Partner said “We are once again delighted to be the headline sponsor for such an enjoyable local event. We have sponsored the Burry Port Raft Race from the off, with this being our 4th year now, we can see the event growing year on year, with this year promising to be a step ahead again.
This year we shall be sending our Llanelli team into the water to compete in the race, with many of our staff on the side-lines to cheer the rafters on. We look forward to meeting and greeting visitors during the event, come and find our brightly coloured car on the day. Fingers crossed for another sunny day.”
