Community-Minded Agents Rise to the Cost of living Crisis
Estate agents across the UK have helped to raise more than £7000 in less than two weeks to support their local food banks and community help groups.
The money has been raised thanks to a ‘free’ guide created by a popular industry partner, the Estate Agent Content Club.
The 8-page guide – Coping with the Cost of Living – How to Make Your Money go Further– is filled with money-saving tips, ideas, and information on where to access support and help.
Jerry Lyons of the Estate Agent Content Club said: “The idea came about through a conversation with Asad Riaz of location Location. We need to help our communities in any way we can now, and agents are doing a lot to make things a little better.
“So we came up with this guide and are distributing it to non-competing agents for free but with the strong suggestion that if agents want to share it with their audiences, they donate £100 directly towards a local food bank of their choice. It’s part of ‘our content with a conscience’ approach.

“Since we launched the guide on Friday, 28th October, we have raised more than £7000 for great causes across the UK. It reinforces my belief that the estate agency industry leads the way when it comes to helping their communities.”
