Jim Parker of Fife Properties – Scotland is no stranger to fundraising. Jim will be Today the 28th Feb travelling to Marrakesh to climb Jebel Toubkal.
Jim comments “Located in the Atlas mountains Jebel Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa and the Arab world. Standing at 4,167 metres I will have to navigate rocks, snow and ice so among our kit I will be taking crampons and ice axe.
Due to the unusual cold weather, which incidentally is affecting our fruit and veg shortage the mountain will have more challenging than usual.
Why am doing this? To raise as much money and awareness for a Fife based charity, The Craws Nest Trust.
the Craws Nest Trust improve the quality of life for many people.
Founded by Eleanor Bowman in 1989 as the Craws Nest Trust has donated 130 powered wheelchairs, 34 manual wheelchairs along with many tens of thousands of pounds of donations to various local and national causes, helping improve the quality of life for many people.
