Managing Director Darren Greenaway of Greenaway Residential Estate Agents And Letting Agents is no stranger to raising funds for many charity events and challenges. Darren the founder of Greenaway Foundation is putting into action the next planned campaign, making Christmas special for families who are facing challenging times.
Darren tells “Every Christmas The Greenaway Foundation provides families with all the ingredients they need to cook a healthy two course Christmas dinner. Many children from these families can make a wish for a Christmas present up to the value of £25. Last year 956 families received a food hamper and over 2,000 children received their wishes. This year we aim to help 2,000 families and make 4,000 wishes to come true.
Every penny the charity receives goes to helping the community, Greenaway Residential Estate Agents covers the running costs of the charity”.
Our Mission: Supporting Local Families in Need
Since 2011, the Greenaway Foundation has helped financially challenged families in Crawley, Horley, and East Grinstead, providing Christmas dinners to over 6,000 families and festive gifts to 10,000 children.
Our mission is to support families who miss out on formal aid, offering assistance with food, clothing, school supplies, and transportation. We work with local schools, social services, and charities to identify families in need. Please note: We cannot take direct requests from parents or carers.
The Greenaway Foundation is funded through individual donations, local business sponsorships, and fundraising events. Greenaway Residential Estate Agents donates 10% of profits to cover operational costs, so all donations directly benefit the families.
