Meet the Guinea Pig
Johnathan Hammond at Hammond Property Services has organised their annual Cryptic Quiz. Due to Lockdown restrictions, unlike previous years, Johnathan was not able to call upon the talents of a local celebrity to make the draw for the Winners for last year’s Quiz from the entries that were received. So, within Johnathan’s Lockdown Bubble is he’s father, Michael Hammond, who is the Guinea Pig for all the Quizzes that he has set over many years. It was Michael who started Johnathan off with Quizzing & Cryptic Crosswords when he was a teenager and they both continue to enjoy the challenges!
Each call to Childline costs £4.00
This years Cryptic Quiz has been circulated with all proceeds going to Childline NSPCC ‘A simple cryptic quiz…all you have to do is match the answers to the questions’.
Jonathan comments “I am very proud that we will be donating a staggering £3,712 to the Nottingham Branch of ChildLine (our highest annual figure) from all those generous entrants from our Annual Quiz. You have all excelled yourselves with your generosity this year and the completing of Gift Aid forms. Every call to ChildLine costs £4 to answer and your donations will make a huge difference to the lives of 928 vulnerable children”.
Hammond Property Services have received over 450 entries and their final count is a whopping £3,712.00!”
Cryptic Quiz is open September 2021
If you you would like to take part in the next annual Cryptic Quiz, Hammond Property Services will be launching in September 2021 for January 2022 winners/answers being published.
