Maria Marciva has applied for an Agents Giving Grant because, as part of the company’s 150 year celebrations, their Client Services Department have set a target to raise £5,000 for Cancer Research UK.
Their first event was a Quiz and Open Mic Night, tickets for the event sold out within 24 hours and saw over 75 people from Hamptons International, John D Wood, Greene & Co. and Urban Spaces snap up the tickets. A great social and networking event was punctuated by 3 quiz rounds and fantastic performances from ‘Agents Got Talent Winner 2018’ Olivia Snow and Harry Springthorpe both ably supported by Hamptons International Head of Country Sales Peter Everett.
Congratulations go to the winning team ‘Nobody Expects The Standon Quizition’ who got 56/60 questions right, which is an incredible score! However, the greatest success from the event was the incredible £1,855 raised for Cancer Research UK.
Maria said “We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback and are really looking forward to our next charity event.”
The Agents Giving grant fund exists to help towards the setup costs of agent’s fundraising events, therefore maximising fundraising so more of the money you raise goes directly to your chosen charity.
The grant is for agents and suppliers to the industry to help with their event set up costs, it is not a direct charity donation. Grant requests should be made in advance of your fundraising event. Grants of up to £250 per office per year will be considered and will need to fulfil Agents Giving criteria.
Applicants will be given the Agents Giving logo to use in their marketing and PR. Agents Giving will require a summary of your fundraising event along with a photo to help with the promotion of your event. Fundraising events for UK charities only, the charity registration number must be supplied prior to funds being sent.
