I am 50 this year and have decided I need to challenge myself so I am embarking on a few cycling challenges in 2019 with the hope that I can also raise much-needed money for a fantastic charity, The Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

So for starters, in May, along with Dominic Hare, I will be kicking it off by cycling from London to Amsterdam in under 48 hours.

Then in September will be doing the London to Brighton “OFF ROAD” cycle ride which is a gruelling 75 miles through Surrey & Sussex with Chris Nathan.

I am planning other things in the year but these two are to be getting on with.

Apart from trying to pretend I’m not going to be 50, I am doing this to raise money for a very worthy cause, THE RAINBOW TRUST CHILDREN’S CHARITY. This fantastic charity support families who have children aged 0-18 years with a life-threatening or terminal illness and who need bespoke support.

Their family support workers provide a lifeline to these families and children. They support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents, bringing support and help to the families who so desperately need it at home, in hospital and in the community.

This particular cause is very close to our hearts as they provide this support for Henry Haire, the son of Godfrey Haire, branch partner of our Crawley office.  So, if you can spare any amount of money to sponsor us we would be very very grateful and rest assured it will be going to a very worthy cause.

Many thanks in advance of your kind generosity.

The Agents Giving grant fund exists to help towards the setup costs of agent’s fundraising events, therefore maximising fundraising so more of the money you raise goes directly to your chosen charity.

The grant is for agents and suppliers to the industry to help with their event set up costs, it is not a direct charity donation. Grant requests should be made in advance of your fundraising event. Grants of up to £250 per office per year will be considered and will need to fulfil Agents Giving criteria.

Applicants will be given the Agents Giving logo to use in their marketing and PR. Agents Giving will require a summary of your fundraising event along with a photo to help with the promotion of your event. Fundraising events for UK charities only, the charity registration number must be supplied prior to funds being sent.
