Tom Trava and the team at Johnsons Property Consultants took part in the Pershore Plum Festival, this gave the team a wonderful opportunity to meet local people, celebrate everything that makes Pershore special and support an organisation that provides invaluable care within our community.
Throughout the festival’s two days, the team ran a family-friendly “Choose a Key” prize box game, with visitors having the chance to win a fantastic selection of prizes. They also gave away sweets and glasses of Prosecco, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere at our stand.
They chose to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice in recognition of the remarkable care and support it provides to patients living with serious illnesses, as well as their families and loved one.
The charity also has a personal connection for Managing Director, Tom Tarver. Tom said: “St Richard’s recently provided excellent care to my mother-in-law during her brave and courageous battle with cancer. She sadly passed away recently, and we will always be grateful for the kindness and support shown to her and our family.
Thanks to the generosity of festival visitors, our prize box game raised £400 for St Richard’s Hospice. We are enormously grateful to everyone who took part, made a donation or stopped to speak with us over the weekend.
We are also extremely proud of our team, who gave their time and energy to make the event such a success. Their enthusiasm helped create a fun experience for visitors while raising awareness and vital funds for an incredibly worthwhile local cause.
St Richard’s Hospice makes an extraordinary difference to people at some of the most challenging times in their lives. We hope the money raised will help its dedicated team continue providing compassionate care, comfort and support to patients and families across Worcestershire”.
