Agents Giving Pacitti Jones

Julie from Pacitti Jones and the teams in Lenzie and Bishopbriggs have decided to walk the big stroll on Sunday 28th April in aid of the Beatson Charity. Julie’s Mum and a number of friends have recently experienced first hand the incredible care and support given by all the staff at the Beatson from the consultants, doctors, nurses to auxiliaries. Their amazing care helped make dealing with the C word less scary not only for the patients but for all the family. Their well-being centre provides a safe-haven for patients and families providing delicious coffee and cakes and a hairdresser and beauty therapist who volunteer in their own time to help try and make the patients feel better.  Julie says “Every one of us knows someone who has benefitted from the Beatson Charity and we all want to give something back to the charity to thank them for everything they do. We’ve created this team because we want to raise money and make a difference by participating in Glasgow Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk 2019.”

The Agents Giving grant fund exists to help towards the set up costs of agent’s fundraising events, therefore maximising fundraising so more of the money you raise goes directly to your chosen charity.

Information about the grant fund:

The grant is for agents and suppliers to the industry to help with their event set up costs.  Grants of up to £250 per office per year can be provided and you will need to supply a write up of your event along with an image to help Agents Giving promote your event oral social media platforms and website.  Applicants will be given the Agents Giving logo to use in their marketing and PR.  It is so simple to apply.  Terms and conditions apply.

There are many ways to get involved with Agents Giving from organising your own fundraising event to coming to one of ours.

You can organise an event and raise money for Agents Giving, just as many of our supporters do, from cycle rides, to canoeing coast to coast to a Soapbox Challenge event. Come to one of our events, and you’ll have a great time with industry colleagues and at the same time raise money for many amazing charities and wonderful causes across the UK.

In 2018, together with all our supporters, we donated to over 80 charities. In 2019 we want to beat that, so get in touch and add your charity to the list. All agents that work with us can display our logo on their website and marketing collateral.  We will also send you window stickers for you to display to show your community that you are part of the Agents Giving network.
