Vicky Bibiris and the team at Location Location Stoke Newington are no strangers to supporting their local community. Vicky tells “For the past 12 years the Winter Toy Appeal has been ensuring thousands of children in North and East London wake up on Christmas morning with a gift to open.
We co-founded the appeal with the Local Buyers Club, because we believe that Santa shouldn’t just visit those who parents can afford it. Every year, we aim to collect 5000 toys to distribute between Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Haringey, but this year the need is even higher.
Please buy a new gift for a child experiencing extreme poverty in London. They’ll be distributed via local councils to children in most need and to children in care and those in temporary accommodation.”
Lets make sure no child goes without this winter
Funds donated via Go Fund Me will primarily be used to buy toys from independent shops.
December 16th is the last day to donate. Donations made after this date will be used for next year’s appeal.
