Darren comments “The Goldfingers team is taking on an incredible challenge: a 50-mile hike from Buckingham Palace in London to the Palace Pier in Brighton on. 28th June 2025.
This inspiring group of everyday middle-aged guys is known for doing extraordinary things to raise money for charity.
Last year, Goldfingers tackled the National 3 Peaks Challenge, conquering the UK’s three highest peaks in under 30 hours. Their determination and teamwork raised an amazing £6,800 for the mental health charity MIND. Now, they’re pushing themselves even further by walking over 50 miles to support the remarkable local charity, ESTEEM”.
ESTEEM is a Sussex-based charity dedicated to empowering young adults aged 14–26. Through mentorship, skill-building, and community support, ESTEEM helps young people gain confidence and improve their well-being.
At the heart of ESTEEM is The Old School House, the last remaining youth centre in West Sussex. However, this vital space is under threat—the council plans to sell it. To secure its future, ESTEEM needs to raise £500,000 by November 2025.
Every step we take from Buckingham Palace to Brighton’s Palace Pier brings us closer to safeguarding Esteem’s building, a space that has transformed so many young lives”.
Agents Giving and the Guild of Property Professionals are delighted to support a great challenge to keep the ESTEEM house a safe haven for future generations.
