Managing Director Sanjay Gandhi of Moss Mentors is fundraising for The Bone Cancer Research Trust. Sanjay is helping estate agents grow their business with #sanjfest continuing through to 2024.
Early in 2023, Sanjay Gandhi, a leading light in the UK’s estate agency industry, began experiencing persistent localised headaches, along with a loss of focus that was affecting his work. At the urging of his wife, Sanjay sought medical attention and on 9th of May, the results of an MRI revealed the presence of chordoma tumours in his brain. This is an extremely rare type of bone cancer – a condition affecting only one in 800,000 people in the UK annually.
While coming to terms with the gravity what of he was facing and looking to demystify the raft of medical jargon he’d encountered, Sanjay found Internet research inadequate to answer his questions. Then he discovered the Bone Cancer Research Trust. Their simple, concise information with easy-to-follow guides made all the difference. Sanjay found that getting this information was both material to his preparedness and beneficial to his overall mental wellbeing.
Sanjay has been helped by the Bone Cancer Trust. So much so, that amid his own challenges he is raising funds for the Trust – to pay it forward to ensure that other sufferers of bone cancer can be helped and supported in the same way that he has been.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust is dedicated to saving lives & improving outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer. Despite being small, they fund more research projects exploring primary bone cancer than any other organisation. Other large UK cancer research charities do not prioritise bone cancer patients, in 2019 just 0.028% of their research spend went to bone cancer – not even close to 1%!
Last year alone, Bone Cancer Research Trust committed an incredible £807,824 to pioneering bone cancer research – to save lives
You can help the Trust to be a helpful source of information for other people fighting bone cancer too. Your generous contribution to the Trust will finance the resources they need, so they can continue to offer bone cancer sufferers and their family’s strength and support.
Agents Giving and The Guild of Property Professionals are delighted to support Sanjay’s fundraising for The Bone Cancer Research Trust.
