Caroline Deeprose, Joanne Noonan and Natalie Brookman of Noonans Property Services, St Neots set up The Property Angels Foundation Charity during the COVID Pandemic of 2020 when cases of domestic abuse soared dramatically.
Caroline Deeprose comments “As Property professionals we have access to the lives of many people, but would you know the signs of domestic abuse and what to do if someone asked for help? The property industry is in a unique position here; as employers with teams, work is often a ‘safe haven’ for victims of abuse but also as professionals going into people’s homes, we see behind those closed doors. The responsibility is twofold.”
1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men have experienced domestic abuse at some point in their lives was blown out of the water at a meeting back in December 2020. Noonan Property services just so happen to be an all-female estate agency of 7 women at that time.
Joanne Noonan, Co-Founder comments “When the girls were discussing causes that meant something to us at a team meeting, we discovered we had ALL experienced domestic abuse in one form or another at some point in our lives. All 7 of us. It was incredible. We decided then and there, this was a cause we just had help – it meant so much to us all. And so the foundation was born and the fundraising began.”
On Saturday 10th December The Property Angels Foundation will be hosting their first Angels Ball and they would like you to be apart of it.
Supporting local families affected by domestic abuse since 2020 throughout Cambridgeshire, The Property Angels Foundation are proud to be hosting this prestigious event.
They have an incredible line up for the night; canapes and fizz to greet their guests, a silent auction, exceptional food, and an evening packed with live entertainment and dancing – they have it all covered, from magic to music, even a casino! Plus…if you have the Golden Ticket, you could win a prize worth £500!
This even would make fantastic Christmas party for estate agents – as well as individual tickets, corporate tables of 10 are also available which are ‘sponsorship’ tables, so you would be included in all the marketing & PR of the event too.
