Bex Battle - Nottingham Knights Breast cancer battle
With the support of the Estate Agency industry Richard & Rebecca Combellack of Nurtur Group have already raised an incredible £37,000 for Breast Cancer.. (The journey so far can be seen here https://nurtur.tech/about/breast-cancer-charity/ ).
Richard tells “Its not over yet; to support my wife Bex, family, and everyone’s fight against Breast Cancer, the Nottingham Knights would like to invite you along and ask for your support for Bex’s Battle”.
On Sunday 8th February 2026 a charity ice hockey match is taking place to raise funds for two incredible charities: Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!. The match features ex-elite league players David Clarke (Panthers), Marc Levers (Panthers) and Ben Bliss (Steelers) amongst the roster.

The campaign was sparked by a cause close to their hearts. In May 2025, Bex, 39, the wife of one of the Nottingham Knights and a devoted mum of two, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, she has undergone gruelling treatment as she continues her fight against the disease. Beyond the physical toll and the devastating life-long effects, “Bex’s Battle” is focused on raising vital awareness about the realities of this disease alongside fundraising to support Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!
Thanks to a special allocation, every child under the age of 11 can receive a free ticket for this event.
