Brad Ashford of Oakley New Homes and team are proud to be supporting one of their developers, River Oaks Homes, in their efforts to raise funds for the incredible charity The TEA Project.
Brad comments “River Oaks Homes are hosting a charity go karting event, and we would love for as many people as possible to get involved and support this fantastic cause. The TEA Project works to provide education and opportunity for children in rural Sri Lanka, creating safe spaces where young people can learn, grow and build brighter futures.
This cause holds deep personal meaning for Ray, the owner of River Oaks Homes. Ray’s son Oli, who sadly passed away recently, played an important role in supporting the charity and helping it grow in its early days.
“Oli didn’t just support us; he helped transform the project. He connected us with his friend Laurens at ASICS. Because of Oli’s passion, ASICS donated £10,000, and through their Sri Lankan partners Hirdaramani we received another £10,000. Those funds allowed us to build our very first TEA Centre a complete game changer that shaped everything that followed”.
