Wendy Morris & the team at Oliver and Akers Estate agency based in St Albans are delighted to once again be holding their Charity Golf Day! In previous years they have raised over £20,000 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Last year the team raised a phenomenal amount of £19,000 for the Willow Foundation thanks largely to Matt Lucas a staunch Arsenal FC fan who conducted their charity auction. Matt donated his services for free!
Arsenal Legends joining golfers
Willow Foundation helps seriously young adults make precious memories in the toughest times. Willow founded by ex-Arsenal and England Goal Keeper Bob Wilson following the death of his beloved daughter Anna in 1999. Bob is a close friend of Oliver and Akers co-owner Vic Akers, himself also an Arsenal Legend and together with other ex Arsenal Legends will be joining golfers for a round at the event on Wednesday 19th April at the Aldenham Golf Club in Hertfordshire which is followed by a dinner and charity auction.
